I'm not sure how it managed to happen, but I reset my abilities fairly early on, and it removed the starter skills, then said I had spent -2 ability points. It won't let me buy the starter skills so I have no way to do damage. I tried using the dev tool to add points, but it only added the points, and didn't fix my amount spent.

Absolutely any chance this gets brought to MacOS or iOS? Like what I played in the browser, but see the download seems to be more stable.

Very fun so far. In the first boss room I was able to stand in the middle with the boss just right and above me, I was able to hit him but he was not able to hurt me. When I am in the Ability tree and click the reset tree button, I am unable to reallocate any of my points, breaking the game. This was when playing in the browser, the download works just fine.

I'm not sure whether it's a bug but, all sustained skills(like buffs and Aura of Death) can be persistent forever, just cast them and remove them in the duration time. And, when I act like this, I found I can't cast Perfect Strike and Berserk, although it seems that they are working.

There might be some redundancy in what I say but:

Occasionally, buying items from the shady guy will delete all of your mats. I had a stack of hundred disappear when buying an item requiring 30 mats, or whatever amount a specific item costs. That happened to me twice.

Are masteries explained anywhere? I wasn't sure what they did, they weren't a stat I could scroll over like the primary stats.

Fixed the bug with the shop taking more than the required amount!

I also added tooltips for all of the game stats in the character sheet section now, not just main ones. It now explains what mastery does in detail

How do you salvage individual items?

Just added this feature on a new build! Ctrl + Right Click.

Will be adding a proper feature for salvaging items in inventory soon and a way of doing it on mobile as well

I got a little carried away lol

I played normally until the end, I just found a bug and wanted to have fun with it before quitting

It’s early but I like where it’s heading. The Diablo/PoE currencies, crafting, and gambling all made sense to me immediately and they fit seamlessly with the bullet heaven stuff and incremental map upgrades. It reminded me a bit of Wantless (diablo tactics RPG) just because that’s the last game I played that also got Diablo itemization right.

The perk points confused me at first, because they look like standard aRPG perks you get from leveling but behave like incremental prestige perks you get from resets. I understood after a couple levels though. I like the pacing of repeatedly leveling up, it feels like leveling alt characters or jobs in an MMO.

I don’t know if you’re actually planning to target a web build long-term or if it’s just for the demo, but it ran surprisingly well at a steady 58-60 FPS even with many things on the screen. It only dipped because I started recording.

these are the only two bugs I ran into:

  • the loot filter can scrap items in the wrong slots
  • removing a buff from the hotbar causes it to no longer expire

Hey! Thank you so much for the detailed feedback and for playing all the way up to T10, super happy to hear you enjoyed it.

The bugs you ran into have been fixed with a bunch of others, and I will be releasing a new build with the fixes in a couple days! Thanks for letting me know

wow, that was fun, nice job! Hope you release the full game soon!

Thank you for playing! It will be released soon but expect frequent content and updates here on itch as well, I'm gonna try to stick to a bi-weekly build

the game is amazing. Add sound to make it 10 times better.

I will keep an eye on it for future updates! Great job

I can't wait to add sound and music to the game. I have experimented with sound effects and music in the game but I haven't reached a point where they're good enough to include. They will come eventually tho!

Thanks for playing it

Fantastic little idea I love it so far and cant wait to see where you take it!

Super glad you liked it! Long ways to go till a full release, but I'll get there :)

Hey! I'm having a lot of fun with your game, thanks!

It's quite interesting, and if you need some unasked-for feedback, here is what I think.

-   I saw your game on Reddit and played until Tier 7.

-   All the systems are working fine, I encountered 0 bugs! That's good work on your part, congratulations!

-   The skills are good, but there are only a few of them, so adding more skills with combinations is needed.

-   Items are just numbers, at least all the ones I have. It's okay, but if you are going to change items every 5 minutes, these numbers become irrelevant. This has a solution: make the game more difficult, so you need to optimize your build a bit. In addition to that, in tiers 2-7, I never used the monolith; I just ran to get to the next tier. Maybe having special items to grind for on the same tier is your planned solution.

-   I abused the respawn system. Maybe having items break on respawn would make me think more about death. And also, regenerating the boss's entire health if I die.

Best of luck, Adrian! Obrigado

So glad you had a bug free experience all the way to tier 7 haha!

All your points are incredibly valid, I will be addressing all of them in future builds.

There will be way more abilities and nodes in the ability tree, currently it gives you a sneak peek of it's intended final size as you move around.

And the intention is definitely to make the tier progression considerably harder, as those will each have their own quests and content. I want you to spend at least 45 minutes in each tier, and more on the higher ones. It will be balanced to force you to optimize your gear and build as you go, don't want you one shotting tier 6 with your tier 4 gear and no resets for example.

As for the respawn system, it will eventually cost gold and if you can't afford it you'll respawn in a safe area instead of on the same spot. So you can't afk while dying constantly. That should fix it!

Thank you so much for playing and the detailed comment, really appreciated! Obrigado!

Thank you for reading my post and for the very fun game!

I am still in the first room with the skeleton as of writing this, but it already feels fun! The heartblood you poured into this is obvious right from the start and you have some really good looking UI elements in there (right next to those which will probably get another pass down the line ;D) Idling feels nice and punchy, loot speaks of adventures and skills to develop once I leave the starting area. I typically would wait a long time when it comes to writing feedback, but it's very rare I'm hooked this early when it comes to idle games. Well done, I'm looking forward to more!

This comment was honestly so incredibly nice that I've must've read it 30 times. Thank you so much for playing the game and sharing your opinion!

Couldn't ask for a better review at this stage in development, specially coming from someone with so much experience.  I've watched multiples of your videos on UI and I will continue to watch them while working on improving it!

Thanks again for playing!

Sometimes, we all just need a bit of positivity ;)

I played for a while longer yesterday and still enjoyed the time. I agree with the commenter mentioning the very easy gameplay, a bit more of a difficulty curve until you feel like you are a force  to be reconed with might be a good route. As in: It's easy to idle on a stage you already leveled yourself up for and equipped stuff, but once you step into another level, things get a bit harder again, giving more of a challenge. One of the main reasons I like idles is the progression of feeling weak to hitting a wall and overcoming it, then coasting along for a while enjoying the newfound power until the next challenge comes up.

I also found some other bug: once you toggle all the filter options on, no matter if you toggle them off, they stay on. Or maybe, I really did not loot a single thing for two hours afterwards - which feels like that shouldn't be true ;) The first time I was at the smith and wanted to dust my superfluous equipment also did not work on first try, no matter which filter I used.

The trader is as frustratingly fun as I remember those reroll-traders from Diablo :D It's good to have another way to use the tier resources (and became my only way to get loot thanks to the filter bug).

When I keep this open in a browser window, the game seems to run out of enemies to fight. I came back to the tab after working on a project and my character stood in an empty room. Had to leave it to get any meaningful amount of enemies back

And I think saving doesn't work yet? Which I only saw this morning, which doesn't make this a great start into the day ;) (granted, I only saw the warning after I reloaded it. Maybe put that on the pause menu, too?) I seemed to have kept the things in my inventory, but levels reset and the tutorial greeted me again (which I liked, btw, and I've been playing since the early 90s, too. It's quite short and gives a quick overlook, then is done in a matter of moments. I think you handled that well, even though I'm not too much of a fan of the "click here" tutorial myself.) Loading a save on the web version also seemed to have kept the "dust everything" filters I toggled at an earlier point and can't go back on now.

I downloaded the game today instead and please, add an options menu for screen resolution. I accidentially opened it on my vertical monitor and it's now stuck that way ;D

Hope, you are getting plenty of feedback and playtesters to work with!
